Gil Ron
iSpeed FELT Team Director and co-founder
Gil Ron is iSpeed FELT Team Director and co-founder. Gil started riding bicycles in 2014 as cross training for his motocross riding. He immediately fell in love with the speed and the way road biking felt like and after doing his first race as a Cat 5, he found himself upgrading quickly to Cat 1.
In 2016 Gil Started the iSpeed club and offered cyclists of all genders, age, and levels a safe environment and a structured platform to execute excellent results.
In 2022 Gil was riding as part of the USA National Team for the World Maccabiah Games also known as the Jewish Olympics where he was able to win a gold medal at the road race and a bronze medal at the time trial, competing against riders from all over the world. At the end of 2023 Gil did it again, winning both the time trial and road race at the Pan American Championships for the Maccabi games in Argentina.
On the team Gil is working together with the young generation on getting them to new heights, helping them to be the best version of themselves. His guidance helped many of them to grow into the cyclists they are today. As the team race director Gil is providing them with winning opportunities, great leadership, support, and a lot of solid and successful race tactics.
When not racing or mentoring the young generation, Gil keeps a daily job, being part of an international cooperation. Together with his partners and hundreds of their employees they are helping farmers around the world to keep their crops protected under controlled environmental systems.
